Nick’s Place is somewhat of a hidden gem when it comes to authentic sports bars in Houston.

Nestled just off busy Westheimer 20 minutes west of downtown, you may have to look twice to see the unassuming bar and its deck, as it is somewhat tucked away at the end of a strip mall.

But once inside it opens up into a cavern that’s every sport fan’s dream – wall-to-wall TVs offering all manner of games to choose from, sports décor and memorabilia from all across the world adorning the walls, and obviously an inviting bar with a great selection of international beers along with some local craft brews on draft.

Nick’s Place is an Italian-themed sports bar and soccer fans can enjoy the detail of the jerseys of the major teams from the country that have been framed for display.

The Italian-theme extends to its menu of authentic homemade choices. You can pick from classic pasta dishes and a wide selection of pizzas, along with a spin on some more regional favorites with variants like Italian tacos. There is also a number of popular American dishes to choose from in addition.

Open from 10am, the Italian influence extends to their breakfast menu. Here, both the breakfast pizza and the breakfast calzone come highly recommended!
